Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS)

The Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS) course is for rope rescue team members who already have completed comprehensive basic training and want to continue to specialise. This training picks up where the Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) course leaves off.

This course examines advanced technical solutions and is consistent with NFPA 1670 and 1006 standards for technician level. Qualification is valid for 3 years.

  • Use of multi-pods, monopods, and A-frames
  • Various configurations of steep, diagonal and horizontal spans
  • Use of multiple track lines in highline operations
  • Industrial lead climbing
  • Loads and forces

Participants must be 18yrs and over.
