Prerequisites
  • In depth knowledge of how to tie anchors, knots and hitches
  • Rope access qualifications or vertical rescue qualifications
  • Current work safely at heights national qualification that is current within the last 3 years
Objectives and Content

Delegates will gain the knowledge to explain and demonstrate:

  • A wider range of knots, hitches and bends
  • The use of wrap 3 Pull 2 webbing anchors
  • Tensioned back tie anchors
  • Advanced mechanical advantage
  • Directional and offset raising & lowering systems
  • Guidelines
  • Stretcher rigging techniques
  • Hi Line set ups including:
    • Norwegian Reeve – Control Side & Carriage System – Horizontal Rigging
    • English Reeve — Control Side & Carriage System - Horizontal Rigging
