Issue Work Permits

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to issue work permits, including an understanding of the permit system and the limitations of each permit, and making decisions regarding the need for and correct use of each permit.

Duration:
Half-Day (4 Hours)

This person may or may not be involved in the actual work to be performed, but must have a good understanding of the work and complete (where required) the appropriate risk assessment.

Prerequisites

Participants must hold a certificate for the MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis, which can be completed on the same day prior to commencing the Issue Work Permits course.

Entry Requirements

Participants must have:

  • An individual undertaking this course must be able to demonstrate the demands of the practical demonstrations of the course including wearing and working in all relevant personal protective equipment, conducting hazard analysis and tests/inspections for gas or other hazards.
  • Present photo I.D. on arrival
Training and Facility

Training can be conducted at your work site or off-site at one of our purpose-built training facilities.

Gas Test Atmospheres
This course is designed for personnel who may need to undertake monitoring of potentially hazardous atmospheres in the workplace.
