There are no prerequisites for the course. All students must be eligible to receive nationally recognised training within Australia and be able to provide an unique student identifier (USI) upon enrolment

• Legislation
• Risk assessments and control measures
• Pre and post use inspection of all personal fall arrest equipment
• Demonstrate fall restraint, work positioning, and fall arrest techniques
• Anchor point selection and inspection
• Correct rigging of anchorage slings
• Use of self retracting lifelines (SRL), and single and twin lanyards
• Temporary horizontal safety lines
• Recognise suspension intolerance
• Demonstrate an industrial rescue technique (additional element if appropriate facility available)

Participants must:

• Have the physical capacity to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including gaining access, working, and egress from a place of height whilst wearing the appropriate PPE.
• Have sufficient English language, literacy, numeracy, and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the course.
• Present photo I.D. on arrival

Training can be conducted at your work site or off-site at one of our purpose-built training facilities.
