Construction Safety Program

Our Construction Safety Program course has been designed to be give students skills in fire extinguisher, spill response and manual handling safety training for people working on or in construction sites. This course consists of blended theory and practical learning.
Certification:
Course Certification: PUAFER008 Confine Small Emergencies in a facility, HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely
Duration:
4 hours

$200.00 Ex. GST

NB: Theory component can be delivered either face to face or via e-learning with practical to be completed face to face

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for the course. All student must be eligible to receive nationally recognised training within Australia and be able to provide an Unique Student identifier (USI) upon enrolment

Entry Requirements

Participants must have:

  • The physical capacity to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including gaining access, working, and egress from a place of height whilst wearing the appropriate PPE
  • Sufficient English language, literacy, numeracy and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the course
  • Present photo I.D. on arrival
Training and Facility

Training can be conducted at your work site or off-site at one of our purpose-built training facilities.

The course applies to individuals who may be required to make decisions about the safety of occupants of a facility during an emergency and to give instructions on the priority order for responding to an emergency incident, including command, control and coordination of facility emergency response procedures and concluding the facility emergency incident.
