Artificial Hi Directional AHD Course

The Artificial High Directional (AHD) 5 day workshop is ideal for rope access technicians and vertical rescue technicians that are looking to utilise these highly effective tools at work whether it be for rope access, vertical rescue or advanced confined space entry operations in an artificial or natural environment.

This course will give operators thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical applications in building a safe and effective AHD.

Target groups

Rope access technicians, emergency services, police and specialist rescue units and mines rescue teams

Prerequisites
  • In depth knowledge of how to tie anchors, knots and hitches
  • Rope access qualifications or vertical rescue qualifications
  • Current work safely at heights national qualification that is current within the last 3 years
